Zulily Obsessed!

I hate to admit this, but I have come to the realization that I have become completely obsessed with shopping on Zulily for Ell. They have the best deals, and I love how convenient it is to shop! Each morning I'm alerted at 6:00 a.m. (I know, it's bad) and you can even set your account up for email reminders for your favorite brands. What more could you ask for?

One of my favorite brands is Jelly the Pug! Their clothes are beyond cute, and Zulily has an event about every two weeks. If you love ruffles and adorable patterns, then this is the brand for you. Head on over….. an event just started yesterday!

Ell and I have this little spot in front of our house that we always go to before we start our day. the other day we were in a rush and she said, "Mama, we need to go out front and take a picture!" It was so cute. It might also be a sign that I take way too many pictures out there. In my defense, it's the only time of day I have my "nice" camera and am able to actually snap some pictures. I think they always turn out pretty cute too!

Another brand I love is Pink Vanilla. 

They have the most adorable dresses with the cutest embellishments.

Trendy Tot Tuesday

I'm so excited to co host with Megan and Kelly for Trendy Tot Tuesday today. I always love reading all the link ups, but I can never seem to get my posts ready in time. So, when Megan asked if I'd like to host, I was beyond excited, and it gave me the push I needed to finally get a TT post up! Thanks Megan. Here it goes!

For those of you visiting for the first time, I'm Hollie, and I have one sweet daughter, Ella Catherine. I simply love having a sweet, little girl, and it's SO fun to select fun outfits that fit her So Cal style! We are so blessed to live in Sunny San Diego, which means our girl must have TONS of bathing suits to select from on the daily for all our trips to the pool, beach, splash pad, etc. So… I thought it was only fitting to show off some of Ell's suits she's been sporting this summer. We sure are having a FUN summer . . . . .

After looking through these pictures and all her bathing suits, I've realized that I apparently like dressing Ell in ruffles! Who doesn't love a little girl in sweet ruffles, right?

I really loved picking out suits for Ell this summer. Our summers are pretty jammed packed with activities, most of which require a bathing suit because it's so darn hot outside. We wouldn't have it any other way. 

All of her swimsuits came from Zulily, Old Navy, 

Crazy 8, Carter's, and Target.  Most suits are on clearance now, so it's the PERFECT time to buy for your littles next summer. I may or may not have ordered some 4T suits for Ell already!

4th of July Style

July 4th is a very special day for Jose and I. It's the day our sweet girl was finally on her way to meet Mom and Dad!

Two years ago on The 4th of July, I was lounging at my Mom and Cortie's pool steadily feeling contractions from our sweet girl. I was 10 DAYS LATE(shoot me), and was eagerly awaiting Ella's arrival. I was contracting all day, and as the night went on, I began having to breathe through a few. I was also having a very hard time feeling any movement from our girl. So.... around 11:00 p.m., we headed for the hospital for what I knew would be the arrival of our sweet Be. 

Ella Catherine arrived on July 5th at 5:56 in the evening, 16 hours later! So, I think it is only fitting that our girl have several cute outfits for her birthday month. Don't you?!

Ella was mad because she wanted to go to Gigi's to swim. We were going to our pool instead! She pouted a bit on the way, but then was her happy, happy self once we arrived. I had to post these pics because they are so funny to me. Typical, strong-willed Ella. I'm in for it!

Ella's cousins Anika, Nora, and Stella(Yes, they are triplets) gave her this suit as a birthday present. They were so excited to be giving her the same suit they had on. So sweet! Thanks girls.

Meet My Trendy Tot: Ella Catherine

I thought I would join in on the fun and link up to Trendy Tot Tuesday for the first time. I'm not to sure if my little Miss is "trendy", but I do think she's pretty darn cute. 

I'm a teacher, so Ella goes to childcare three days a week, and the other two days she is with her Grandparents. I usually don't send her with her nicer clothes because she is super active and she plays hard ALL day! I like her to be comfortable and have the ability to move around freely. Since I'm now off for the summer, it allows me to dress her up a bit more and she can finally wear some of her summer outfits. Here are a few of my favorite outfits from the last two weeks.

If you are visiting for the first time, you'll notice Ella never looks at the camera! This is a battle I NEVER win! I'm not one to give up, so every once in a while she'll look my way.

Ella and I found a great new spot called Java Mama (thanks Ash) where they have a coffee bar and play area for kids. It is amazing! We'll definitely be going back for more.

Don't you worry, this isn't normal park attire. Megs and I were trying to get some cute Father's Day pics, so she was a bit dressed up. I just rolled with it and let her stay in her dress. She didn't mind one bit and it saved me having to wrestle her down for an outfit change!

Last Sunday, Ella went to her first Padre/Dodger game. My Mom and Cortie have season tickets with amazing seats, so we thought we'd give it a go. Let's just say it was an adventure. We won't be going back until little Miss can sit still for longer than 2 minutes!
